This is a mandatory 16-hour course (unless retired law enforcement or military); 2 day (8 hour each day) or 4 day (4 hours each day) which covers the guidelines designated by the Illinois State Police Firearm Services. The course covers the Illinois laws of the FOID Act, the Conceal Carry Act, basic pistol safety, use, storage, ammunition, and range qualification.
Clients are offered the basic 3 hour renewal class which requires 2 hours in the classroom going over any new updates and laws. It requires a 1 hour gun range qualification of skills.
Clients are offered assistance with navigation through the Illinois State Police website. We help you upload photos and with the payment process.
We help clients maneuver through the Illinois State Police website for Conceal Carry applicants. We help to up load photographs, certificates and the payments.
Conceal Carry applicant must be 21+ years of age. You must have valid ID or drivers license. You must be able to obtain a FOID card. You CAN NOT have a conviction of a forcible (violent) felony within the last 20 years. They must attend a 16/8 hour CCL course and must pass range qualifications. (Class hours to be determined with supporting documentation authorized by ISP).
