708-794-8308. Class covers the guidelines designated by the Illinois State Police Firearm Services. The course covers the Illinois laws of the FOID Act, the Conceal Carry Act, introduce the firearm safety rules, give a basic pistol safety class, explains the use, storage, of firearm and ammunition, all students have to pass a range qualification skills test.
Clients are offered the basic renewal class which requires atleast 3 hours in the classroom (going over old and any new updates of laws, also it requires a skills test at the gun range.
Clients are offered assistance with navigation through the Illinois State Police website to apply for a FOID card. We help you apply for card, upload photos and with the payment process.
We help clients maneuver through the Illinois State Police website for Conceal Carry application. We help with explaining the application, uploading of photographs; certificates and the payments.
Conceal Carry applicant must be 21+ years of age. You must have valid state ID or driver's license. You must be able to obtain a FOID card. You CAN NOT have a conviction of a forcible (violent) felony within the last 20 years. They must attend a 16/8 hour CCL course and must pass range qualifications. (Class hours to be determined with supporting documentation authorized by ISP).
